it has four wheels.

i am veevs. i love to drive. a lot. i don't use capital letters when i type and i'm a pretty terrible speller. and i hate being treated like a chick when it comes to my cars.

i have never been one of those girly girls, even more so with something that has four wheels. i have owned five different cars, each one with a soul (whether it be an evil one or not) and i have lived to tell the tale. in my experience, it is still a man's world when it comes to cars, car maintenance and outright knowledge about the vehicle that you own.

ladies, i am here to tell you that it's not hard to know just as much (if not more) than the men about your car. and any other car, for that matter. now, i'm not saying that you need to go to pep boys and buy your own oil to change it (because let's face it, i don't. it's too expensive and i can hire someone to do it for me, more efficiently and i don't have to dispose of the old oil.) but i am saying that you have the ability to defend yourself and not be bullied into things you don't need when it comes to maintenance of your car.

empowerment of vehicle research is important to me as well. if you are in the market for a new car, don't let the pretty colors and the commercials sell you on what makes for a good vehicle for your family. there ARE good cars and bad cars. there are different insurance rates for different makes. there are reasons behind each one of these facts as well. i love to test drive cars and this is the place i'll talk about them.

anything i say on this blog is purely my own opinion and i am not sponsored or influenced by others. my reviews and thoughts on each car is exactly that: my opinion. don't think that if i rave about the RAV-4, the possibility of something going wrong doesn't exist. each car is an independent event. there are lemons in every make and model. but if you do your research and follow through with your decision, the probability of something going wrong dramatically reduces.

one more thing. i have a kid. but having a kid doesn't mean i have to have an SUV or a mini-van. i hate mini vans. they're bulky, rather inefficient with gas and don't handle nearly as well as a good five-seater sedan does. live and learn people.
